Description:
Topics taught include fractions, decimals, percents, geometry, units of measure, probability, graphs, and equation solving (beginning pre-algebra).
Expectations:
In addition to the two days of face-to-face classes, students are expected to work at least two more days under the supervision of the homeschool teacher. Students must complete practice problems for 1-3 sections covered during each class period. Homework should average 1 hour daily, Monday – Friday for average students. Take-home tests will be given at the end of each unit.
Prerequisites:
• Completed 6th-grade math.
• New students will be required to participate in a math interview.

• 5 subject 200 page spiral notebook
• Pencils
• Red pens
• Colored pencils
• Scotch tape
• Scissors
• Protractor
• Compass
• 12” ruler with both inches and centimeters
• Handheld sharpener
