Elective

Spanish II

High School

Spring Semester Only

TBD

Class Description –
Spanish II builds on the foundational skills developed in Spanish I and guides students toward greater confidence and accuracy in communication. Learners will expand their vocabulary, deepen their understanding of grammar concepts, and strengthen their ability to speak, listen, read, and write in Spanish.

Through structured practice, interactive activities, and exposure to authentic cultural materials, students will engage with the language in meaningful contexts. They will participate in guided conversations, interpret
longer written and spoken passages, and apply new grammar structures to express ideas with increasing clarity.

Cultural exploration continues to be an integral part of the course, helping students appreciate the diversity of the Spanish speaking world and understand how language and culture shape communication.
Spanish II prepares students for higher level Spanish study and equips them with practical language skills they can use in academic, ministry, and
real world settings.
