Class Description:
High School English Bridge helps students develop the foundational skills needed to succeed in English I. It is designed for high school students who are not yet prepared for the demands of a full English I course and need additional support in reading, writing, and language skills.

Students will use the Essentials in Writing curriculum to build writing skills by working on sentence structure, paragraphs, and short essays, while improving grammar and overall clarity. Emphasis is placed on developing confidence and accuracy so students can approach high school English with a strong foundation.

This course provides the guidance and structured practice students need to continue growing as readers and writers.
