Class Description:
Unleash your creativity in Mixed Media Creations! This dynamic elective is perfect for students who love exploring a variety of artistic techniques and mediums. Over the course of this class, you'll dive into drawing & painting, clay and air-dry projects, collages, canvas murals, yarn art, weaving, origami, card making and stamping, ornament crafting, jewelry making, holiday-themed activities, rock art, and so much more! Discover the endless possibilities of mixed media art while creating unique, personal projects that you’ll treasure forever. Whether you're a beginner or an experienced artist, this class will inspire you to express yourself through a variety of creative outlets. Explore the world of mixed media and let your imagination soar!

Expectations:
Students will have two days of face-to-face classes weekly. They will begin and complete their mixed media pieces in class every week. There is no homework in this class unless your student is absent and needs to make up classwork. The students will turn in their assignment at the end of every class for grading and feedback. Students must be engaged and actively participate during all class activities. An appropriate maturity level and ability to work independently and in groups is required.

Required Textbooks: No books need to be purchased.

There is a supply fee of $30 to cover shared class supplies

• Paint Apron (To keep clothes clean during messy projects)

• 12 Count Markers (Fine Tip & Broad Tip)
• 3 Black Sharpie Markers, Fine Point
