If your student will be enrolling in a math class, placement testing is required.

Math Admission Requirements

Math Interview We want every student to feel confident and supported in their math journey! To help us find the best placement for your child, students who are new to the HRM math program—or who haven’t completed a full year of Secondary Academy math—will need to take part in a short assessment and placement interview. This 30-minute session is $35 and includes both a student/teacher interview and a follow-up conversation with a parent to ensure the best class fit. Interviews are scheduled by appointment after classes are selected. *If your child recently completed 5th grade Math with HRM’s Elementary Explorations, the interview may be waived based on the teacher’s recommendation. We look forward to partnering with you to place your student where they’ll thrive!

7. Class Schedule Confirmation

Once registration closes, you’ll receive a personalized email confirming your student’s schedule.

8. Tuition & Fee Payment

Invoices will be sent by carmenkeeton@homerunministries.com.

• Full payment is due by July 15,

OR

• If you'd prefer a payment plan, just reach out to our Financial Director. The first monthly payment will be due on July 15.

9. HRM Writing Bootcamp

All new English students are required to attend our fun and focused HRM Writing Boot Camp. Details will be provided after registration. Payment for the HRM Writing Boot Camp (if Applicable) is due at the time of testing and/or camp.

HRM Writing Boot Camp

To help our new English students feel confident and ready for success, we ask all incoming students to attend the HRM Writing Boot Camp—even if they’ve had previous writing experience. This workshop introduces students to the HRM approach and some key stylistic techniques from the Institute for Excellence in Writing (IEW) that we use in our program. Boot Camp takes place Monday through Wednesday in early August, from 9:00 A.M. to 11:30 A.M. each day. The class fee is $85 and is due by July 15. Each student will receive a writing resource book at the camp—this will be theirs to keep and use throughout their English courses at Home Run Ministries. If your child has recently completed the 5th grade level English course in HRM’s Elementary Explorations, the Boot Camp may be waived with a teacher’s recommendation. We’re excited to help your student build a strong foundation and start their English journey with confidence!

10. Get Ready for the Year!

After your student’s schedule is confirmed, you’ll be ready to:
