Description:
Today's world offers us an avalanche of information, and students must learn to evaluate sources, research information, discover bias, and discern truth from fiction. This seminar will focus on a variety of topics related to the humanities, including history, current events, and society. This course requires active student participation, deep engagement with materials, and maturity of thought and speech. Daily homework will be minimal; however, students will be expected to complete at least 2 major projects, which will require consistent time management.

In addition to the two days of face-to-face classes, students are expected to work at least two more days under the supervision of the homeschool teacher. Students will actively participate in class discussions, as this will contribute a major portion of their grade.
